The True Anatomy of a Strike Action

The Doctors think they are fighting the Government and the Government thinks it is fighting the doctors - but is that what is really happening? What is the truth?

The word 'strike' means 'to hit at something very hard with the intention of harming or destroying it'.

We see an example of this in action in a physical boxing match where the two opponents trade blows. You strike your opponent, maybe on the head, and your opponent also strikes you back, maybe on your face or chest, and you continue to exchange punches until one person succumbs.

In an industrial action, however, there is a gross distortion of this arrangement. Rather than hit each other directly the combatants look for a vulnerable third party, weak and defenseless, whom they know is connected with the elephant they are fighting in some way and then they actually strike at this helpless target!  People ‘on strike’ chose their targets carefully, striking at those who cannot strike back at them or fight them back.  In the present case, it is vulnerable patients who are being struck. The doctors know they are not going to receive any 'blows' back from the patients.

Seen in this light, the strike action is a very cowardly act. If you have trouble with your employer, go and talk to him and if he refuses to listen to you, pray and go again. And if he still doesn't listen to you, resign and look for another job.  It is unjust, cruel and rather strange that if you have a disagreement with your employers, you should strike patients in the hope that your real opponent will care enough about the patients to concede to your demands!

Here in Ghana such would be a vain hope and a serious miscalculation anyway.  If the doctors themselves, the avowed ‘carers’ and supposedly in one of the ‘Caring Professions’, do not care about what happens to patients, how can they expect the government to do any better than them and care enough to come and act on their behalf.   As a people, we have become a nation whose hearts are hard and calloused. Caring for one another seems to be very far from us.  Everybody simply wants more money for themselves!  But here is the truth that we need to take to heart:  although the patients cannot reply to the doctors or the government, they do have an advocate, who is no one else but God himself.

This is what the Lord Jesus Christ said about caring for people:
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”    Matthew 25:34-38, 40 NIV

Looking after and caring for the sick is actually caring for God Himself. And the converse is also true. Refusing to care for people is refusing to care for God.

So who is this strike against?   The doctors are not striking at the Government, they are striking at patients and hence at God. And the government is not striking at the doctors, it is also striking at God.  Doctors and government, beware! You both have legitimate and genuine grievances but you are using the wrong method to achieve your ends.

For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.  Hebrews 10:30-31 NIV

Striking or hitting at the weak and vulnerable in our society is a sign of emotional and spiritual immaturity and should never be used as a weapon to seek redress for any grievance (no matter how genuine) that we might have. And the government should also learn to treat people with respect and not exasperate them so that they feel they have to adopt such crude and cruel means to get what they want.

Doctors must change their ways and the government must also change its ways. Lest they both fall into the hands of the almighty God who is always at the defense of the defenseless, the weak and the vulnerable.

The Emperor’s New Marriage.

Watching President Obama on CNN congratulating a key LGBT rights advocate on what was considered to be a landmark victoryfor the LGBT community following the SCOTUS ruling, my mind went back to Hans Christian Andersons childrens story, The Emperors New Clothes.  There are some striking parallels between that story and our modern-day ongoing story of the legalization of gay marriage.
In Andersons story, two devious weavers promise to make their Emperor a suit of clothes of such light and fine fabric that it would be visible only to those who were fit for high positions, wise and competent. By deduction, a person who was unable to see these clothes must be incompetent, stupid and not fit for high office. A deal was struck and the weavers set to work. The only trouble was that they were not weaving anything, they were only moving their hands through the air.
First, a high ranking minister came to inspect the work. Even though he could not see any cloth, for fear of being thought stupid and incompetent, he gave a positive and glowing report to the Emperor. When the finished suit was brought to the Emperor he nearly fainted at the realisation that he could not see anything in the hands of the con men.  Again, for fear of being thought stupid, he offered lavish praise for the non-existent clothes. The powerful deception had taken hold. But the con men had not finished their work; they pushed further; they asked the Emperor to change into these new clothes (which he did leaving himself naked by the way!) and to go on a procession to show off his new clothesto his countrymen and women.  And he did!
All the people who came out to see the Emperor pass by were privately shocked to see his nakedness but they kept their thoughts to themselves, pretending that they too could see the amazing new clothes after all, they had also heard the line: Only the stupid and incompetent will fail to see these new clothes.
A stranger happening on the scene would surely have thought that the entire population had been jinxed! How did the con men succeed so easily? Well, they took what was basically a lie – ‘no clotheswere being called beautiful clothes- and attached to the lie things that were highly valued in the culture at the time: wisdom and competence.
This unholy mixture was potent enough to jinx everyone, from citizens, ministers, parliamentarians, all the way to the Emperor.  Although everyone could see that there were no clothes on their emperor, the fear of being thought stupid and incompetent was strong enough to stop people from speaking the plain truth. They all pretended.
I believe that this is exactly what has been going on during the process of the legalization of gay marriage in the nations.  Everyone could see that it was not possible to have a marriage between two persons of the same sex but the advocates for same-sex marriage took a lie (that a man can marry a man and a woman can marry a woman) and attached to it great values within the cultures of these nations: equality, egalitarianism, human rights.  The result was an unholy mixture which was potent enough to deceive so many people: from citizens, to parliamentarians, to presidents and prime ministers and even many in Gods holy church!
As in the Emperors story, the procession is on as many presidents and their associates travel round the world trying to show off their new marriagesto the world. But just as there was a child, in Andersons story, who was free to tell the truth and blurted out: "But he isn't wearing anything at all!", there will be a child who is free and has not been conned yet, and has nothing to lose, who will speak it out:  But this is not a marriage!”  And if the children have all been contaminated with these lies in their classrooms, I believe that a donkey will yet speak out!  Then the playacting will stop. And that will be an interesting moment.
Come on, lets face it: two people of the same sex attempting to marry is, to use a modern-day analogy, like trying to make a laptop from two sets of hard ware.  What you will produce at the end is a jumble of metal.  It is not a laptop and can never work as a laptop.  A laptop is a laptop because it has two different parts: the hardware and the software. When both are present then it can really go.
Here is the truth:
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.””   Genesis 1:27-28 NIV. Our Lord Jesus confirms this when teaching on marriage: ““Havent you read,he replied, that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”” Matthew 19:4-6 NIV
May our God visit us again in power and break the jinx over the nations that all might be truly free again and see the truth and speak the truth and begin to live in the truth before it gets too late.

THE BATTLE FOR WORSHIP 1: AN ALLEGORY

It was in London. The stage was set. The fans had gathered in their thousands. They were ready for a ball! The curtains parted to reveal a giant silhouette of Michael Jackson in a characteristic pose and the massive auditorium erupted with the roar of the fans. The star himself was waiting in the wings to make his entry. The much-awaited concert was about to begin. Both Michael and his fans had been long anticipating this moment. Michael had been dying for it. Then an unexpected message from the producers:  "Michael, there have been some changes and we'd like you to know that you have fifteen minutes to perform tonight."
Non-plussed, Michael asked if they meant he had fifteen minutes for his opening medley.  No, actually, they meant fifteen minutes for the whole concert. The thing was, recent research into the prevailing culture in London suggested that fifteen minutes was the optimal amount of time for fans to meet with a star and keeping to this time limit would actually lead to many more fans joining the Michael Jackson Fan Club. Aghast, Michael exclaimed, "But I need much longer to perform the show I've been anticipating and rehearsing all these months."
"Sorry Michael, but we also found out that many people in our nation do not like it when concerts 'go wild' and we fear that if you play for longer than fifteen minutes some fans will begin to get over-excited and their extreme behaviour will put others off so that they won't want to come back again."
"But do you understand what a concert is all about and why I came all the way from the USA to London to give one?"
"Well, that's not what is important right now. We are in charge of this event and we know exactly what works in our culture and in this city. Moreover, the future benefits are all for you because, when we do things this way, you will not lose the new people who are coming to one of your concerts for the first time. This way, we can build up your fan base. Believe us, Michael, it is for your own good."
Surprised at their patronising tone, Michael nevertheless agreed to observe their time limit. After exactly fifteen minutes of play, the producers announced the end of the show and urged all the fans to sit down in small groups and discuss the history and achievements of Michael Jackson and how they could learn from him.
The crowd yelled, "We want more of Michael, we want more of Michael, we want more of Michael!!!" In his changing room, Michael was troubled and frustrated: "I want more of my fans, I wanted to spend so much more time with my fans, I love my fans, I was looking forward to having a real ball with my fans, but see what I am being served by my producers - do they really not know what I am all about?"
Michael thought this was a one-off case, but when he received the same treatment again and again, he decided not to do any more Michael Jackson Shows in London. The producers were not perturbed, they simply went and got some big screens and began to use video recordings of Michael's previous concerts. They congratulated themselves. "Surely this is even better: we do not have to deal with Michael, who can be difficult sometimes, and guess what? We can turn him on and off just as we wish!"
The videos worked for a while but after some time people who were looking for real-life encounters with their idol stopped attending the concerts, and things disintegrated from there. They were looking for a person, not an image!

Do I need to explain this allegory? When the Lord Jesus walks into his church, he is expecting to have a real ball with the people he loves dearly - the people he gave his life for in order to spend time, really good times, with them. For Jesus, there isn't anything quite like a corporate meeting with his people in worship and praise.  He is looking for churches where there is no rule about the time 'allowed' for praise and worship, where his followers have the opportunity to reach the place in praise which foreshadows the unlimited praise they will one day offer him for eternity and which even now surrounds the throne in heaven.  Sadly, Jesus' new breed of producers (leaders of his people) have a different idea about what Jesus should receive from his own people. Some say fifteen minutes, others say thirty minutes while others permit an hour.  All of them say that it's all for the good of the Lord Jesus. They want to increase his fan base  (church membership).  Yes, yes, yes, says Jesus, but isn't there a time for everything under the Son? A time to evangelise and a time to pray, a time to preach and a time to worship? When will you show some respect to me and come and ask me what I really want? I thought your meetings were Jesus Christ Shows. I thought they were all mine. I thought they were all for me and by me and through me!

Heaven and earth: closer than you think Part 2

Heaven and earth: closer than you think, PART 2

Heaven loves the earth
I've been at the arrival halls of many airports and seen all sorts of 'welcome' moments. Some are simply inspirational... The shouts, the hugs, the excitement on the faces,  forget about who's watching, it's abundant love on display. They haven't seen each other for a long time, now they are together. Who can have a 'controlled welcome'? When heaven met earth again it was love galore. The shout we hear from the throne is full of love.  Heaven had missed having close fellowship with earth for so long! But that's now a thing of the past.  " .... now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
The party has taken ages to be prepared, everything has been ready for ages, the host has been waiting for ages, now at last here comes the object of his love and now love and generosity can be released. Heaven is ever ready for the earth!  No coercion needed!

The spotlight was on the Bride of Christ - the church.
In the climax of heaven meeting the earth, it wasn't the powerful politicians who were in the spotlight, it wasn't the celebrities, neither was it the rich and famous, there was only one organism in the frame - the church of the living God.

Rev 21:9 .........."Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

Isaiah prophesied about this amazing event a few thousand  years earlier.

In the last days  the mountain of the Lord 's temple will be established  as chief among the mountains;  it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. (Isaiah 2:2 NIVUK)
The glory of the church will eclipse everything else. He truly has a place prepared for us.

He saw four things that he would never forget about the City of God.

1. Gloriously large!
He saw a truly sprawling city that would make any present day city appear like a tiny hamlet.
16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 2200km in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 He measured its wall and it was 65meters thick, by man's measurement, which the angel was using.
I find the height of the city mind blowing. It was 2,200km high compared with the tallest building in our world now which is only 0.828km high ( the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. ).  We are going to need eternity to explore the glories of this heaven. Regular encounters with heaven will change the shape and size and height of our vision permanently. When we speak about our plans people will turn round and ask, where are you from?

2. Gloriously rich
Whichever way we look at it, there is absolutely no doubt that heaven is a very very rich place with limitless wealth. In very plain terms, we are told that the streets were made of gold Rev. 21:21b. Wow! Is this nearly universal thirst for gold connected with this place! We've got bits of gold here but it  takes days of digging and sifting through tons of earth to get a few kilos of the precious metal. In heaven it is what we walk on. Those who are really spending all their time chasing gold here are really looking in the wrong place. Let's tell them to try heaven instead. How about that for evangelism?  Many other precious metals and stones also bedeck this glorious place. Now if this heaven is mixing up with the earth more and more, what can we expect? We can expect the wealth and riches of heaven to be entering into the church.  May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven! May heaven drop a billion or a trillion dollar idea into your mind. Let the church become gloriously rich in every way.

Gloriously bright
We've known Jesus as the light of the world but it looks like we've seen only part of his glorious light. In heaven, where where we behold him in full glow, every created light source had become redundant. Paul caught only a glimpse of this shinning glory which exceeded the brightness of the noon day sun but in heaven this is an everyday and every night's  experience. Which of course made the night to become a thing of the past. What glory!  Even now may he turn your darkness into light and may the light of heaven dispel the present darkness that covers the earth.

Gloriously pure
27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
God is holy, his home, heaven is holy and pure and true. Here he is making it clear that heaven will be protected very securely from sin and anything that spoiled the first creation. As heaven breaks in on us more and more we are hearing and learning that God has made us holy and he wants us to be holy we must get rid of anything impure that is still with us or in us.
Gloriously large, gloriously rich, gloriously bright and gloriously pure: This is what God is sending into your midst, this is what is coming out of heaven into the earth, this shall be for those who are ready to receive.
Motivated by His love, these are some key characteristics of heaven that God will be filling the earth with as we see more and more outbreaks of heaven into the earth.
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the  Lord,  as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14 NIVUK)

Heaven and earth: closer than you think
John Kpikpi
Since our Holiness Revival broke out on the 2nd of September, 2012, I have found myself spending more time than usual in the last book of the Bible. When I reached Revelation 21, I was arrested by the very first verse in a way that I'd never known.
"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea."  (Revelation 21:1)
I saw for the first time that the two places, heaven and earth, were bound together twice in the same verse in significant ways.  I thought I would investigate this further and I discovered the following:

1. Heaven is very closely connected to the earth
In Revelation 21:1, the time for the launching of a "new heaven" was also the time for the inauguration of a "new earth" - a kind of joint unveiling.  And the time for the passing away of the "first heaven” also coincided with the passing away of the first earth - a kind of joint annihilation
I was surprised about this strong co-joining of the fortunes of heaven and earth sincein the course of our day-to-day life here on earth, we do not normally think that often about heaven - although we firmly believe that heaven exists.  Those who have lived in more than one country are sometimes struck by how, when they are in one country, the daily pressures of life in thatcountry can prevent them from thinking a lot about what is going on in the other country. In the same way, it appears that the day to day cares of life on earth keep us from thinking much about heaven.   Out of sight, out of mind.  But God wants to change all that for us now.

2. Heaven and earth have the same birthday
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1.  See also Genesis 2:1).
If this is so, then heaven and earth must be twins of some sort!

3. Heaven and earth were made by the same person - God
This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created.  When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens..(Genesis 2:4)
Consequently, these two countries are owned by the same person - God.
The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it.(Psalm 89:11)

4. Heaven and earth have similar destinies
a)
They will be shaken together.
"The earth trembled and quaked, the foundations of the heavens shook; they trembled because he was angry.” (2 Samuel 22:8)
The picture I see here is a man, shaking with anger, holding two bottles one in each hand.Of course both bottles will be shaking as well, because they are in the hands of the person who is shaking.  Then the person holding both heaven and earth promises to, once more, deliberately shake both.
This is what the Lord Almighty says: 'In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land…’ (Haggai 2:6-9)
b)
They will be judged together
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. ( 2 Peter 3:10)
Thus in their 'birth', ownership, and destinies, these two countries, heaven and earth, have so much in common.  But there is more….

5. Heaven and earth share similar experiences
a)
Joy and praise is shared
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, "The Lord reigns!"    (1 Chronicles 16:31)
The praise leader connects the two countries in his mind as he exhorts both countries to rejoice together in the exploits of their one maker. The Lord reigns!  They have the samesovereign.
b)
They party together
God came… His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth. (Habakkuk 3:3)
When God's glory filled the heavens, praise erupted on the earth!  These two countries must be having joint celebrations or throwing parties together.
Jesus also links the moods of the two countries:  In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:10)

6. There is a lot of movement between heaven and earth
Just as the close ties between two countries on earth are expressed by the regular movements of people and goods between the two countries, so we find traffic between heaven and earth.  Beginning in the Garden of Eden when God came to the people he had created, we find numerous occasions when heavenly beings entered the earth for all sorts of purposes. But my favourite one is about Jacob. When he was running away from his brother Esau, weariness caught up with him and he needed a rest. In his sleep he saw “a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.”(Genesis 28:12)
God himself was in the frame, standing beside the ladder and spoke some wonderful promisesto Jacob (Genesis 28:13-15) At the end of the revelation, Jacob declared, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven." (Genesis 28:17)
Jacob spoke like this although he was on good old earth!   He saw the very close connectionbetween heaven and earth and also the fluid nature of the 'location' of these two countries. He designated a piece of ground on earth, as the house of God, a phrase that is almost synonymous with heaven, God's dwelling place. Heaven and earth must flow easily into each other.
If this is what things are like then we have to conclude that God has joined heaven and earth very closely and it will be wise for us to join the two places in our minds and hearts and in our deeds.

7. Jesus is the way between heaven and earth
Ultimately, Jesus came out of heaven into the earth to create a sure highway between heaven and earth. The traffic can only increase between the two countries.  He said, “I am the way…” (John 14:6)
We can expect not only busloads of angels but jumbo jet loads of angels and other heavenly hosts moving between heaven and earth to wherever they will be welcome in. We can expect arch angels, other heavenly hosts and the Holy Spirit all crowding out any place where the Lord Jesus is at work and is being worshipped. The way is indeed now wide open for the greatest interactions ever between heaven and earth. We can expect some genuine miracles, where earthly impossibilities become commonplace occurrences. The strength and power of God released through his angels and other heavenly hosts on behalf of those who worship the Lord will be producing some truly extraordinary happenings.  Our souls can gain comfort and inspiration from crossing into heavens territory regularly, anytime we turn aside to worship Him.  Our vision and capacity will be extended beyond that of mere mortals because we are engaged with and experiencing the life of the greatest country ever, heaven. As we make progress in our experience of heaven we shall see this earth become more and more like heaven, just as the Son of God desired:  your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

My plea here is for wisdom which will look like this:  what God has connected together, we should also connect together. We should no longer complete our interpretation of significant events in our lives without a reference to heaven. Neither should we attempt a full diagnosis of majorissues in our personal lives and in our churches and nations without reference to heaven.  Let heaven's wisdom become our constant companion in everything we attempt or develop here on earth.  Let us no longer live like the pagans who have only the earth. We have both heaven and earth. What a privilege! Let us expect heaven’s riches and fullness to become our regular experience.  Let us take every advantage of the open door that Jesus has become for us.  May you enjoy all of heavens provisions to the full!  The way is open!
May God give you of heaven's dew and of earth's richness — an abundance of grain and new wine.(Genesis 27:28)

Holiness Revival: Isaac's story

On Tuesday, 4th September, 2012 at 6:09pm I had a text message from the elders saying, "Spread the news! We have a special church service at the Centre tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7pm. Which means no cell meeting. Please be there."

On Wednesday, I arrived at the meeting a little late. The church was in small groups discussing what the Holy Spirit had come to do on Sunday (2nd September, 2012). Shortly after, the group discussions came to a close and (for the first time since I started worshipping with City of God Church) Eli Ampofo took the microphone to lead us in worship.

As the worship progressed, I began to pray, asking God to let me see more of Him and feel more of His presence. As I kept speaking these words aloud, I began to experience a strange feeling in my stomach; a feeling that I have never felt before. I had an urge to sit on the floor, which I tried to ignore, but my stomach kept churning in this unusual way, so I finally sat on the floor. I felt my hands were joined together and I also felt excessive heat surrounding my entire body. I tried to pull my hands apart but I couldn't release the grip. Then my body began to sweat and my legs folded inwards. I tried to straighten my legs but I couldn’t. My eyes were tightly closed and I felt surprisedbecause usually when one’s eyes are closed you feel a sense of darkness, but in this case I felt a sense of brightness which was as bright as gold. It was very beautiful, as if I had seen the Lord. I became so happy and started to laugh louder and louder. In the midst of my laughter I felt tears roll down my cheeks. At that point I heard Mensah and Oheneba saying “You are blessed”, so I tried to open my eyes but couldn’t keep them open as the auditorium was so bright.

The next thing I knew I was standing again and this time I began to walk. It felt like I was walking on the clouds. I had no idea where I was walking so I tried to hold back my legs but again I couldn’t. I could feel my left arm around someone and I then began to speak in tongues. At this point I tried again to open my eyes but I couldn’t keep them open. In the few seconds my eyes were open they became fixed on the word ‘Holy’ which was displayed on the projector screen. Then I began to feel an unusual strength which prompted me to shout out “God, you are awesome! God,you are beautiful! God, you are beautiful!”

Meanwhile Aunty Dora was sharing her experience with the Holy Spirit and the angels from our Sunday (2nd September, 2012) meeting. Emily then came to sing and as she sang my heart began to rejoice over the words in the song so I lifted my hands in worship. It felt like I was receiving something from heaven. Then I heard a voice saying “Time is limited” which I took to mean there was more in store for us, but time was short as the meeting was coming to an end.

At the end of Wednesday’s meeting our leaders declared Friday an all-night service. Finally Fridaycame and it was time for us to meet and worship our Heavenly Father again. Friday was just amazing because I couldn’t see the difference between that night and our Sunday morning celebration. As we worshipped and prayed for more spiritual rains, the atmosphere in the auditorium changed and it felt like we were in a different place – Heaven.

In the course of the evening Pastor John invited those with pains or any form of sickness to come to the front. I had two pains in my body - one was in my left arm and the other in my spine - so I joined the others in front. When I got to the front, I felt there was so much anointing in the auditorium. The church began to pray for us and Daniel came to lay his hands on me. Whilst he was praying, he hugged me and I felt something from him moved into me. Since then I haven’t had any problems with my back! My arm however was still hurting a bit so Pastor Joe called us back to pray for us again. Before Pastor Joe prayed, my arm was stiff, but as he began to pray, he held my hand and it began to move very freely again and has remained liked that since.

Then the praise team began to start singing praise songs and as they did I felt so much heat around me I felt the need to remove my tee-shirt. As soon as I took it off I had a strong urge to join in the dance. I danced and danced until the praise time finished. The time had passed by so quickly, I was surprised that it was now 4:00am on Saturday morning!

On Saturday, things felt different. I had become faster and stronger when carrying out the jobs I had to do, It felt like I could take the whole world on my shoulders. Also I have noticed since then that my relationship with God is growing stronger and stronger. Friends, Jesus is real and the Holy Spirit is so wonderful. Just leave everything and come to worship God and for those of you who are already in the faith, continue to worship God, as he will surely fulfill all his promises to you.

Thank you.
Isaac Ofori-Kuma Addison
